Really interesting bit of radio here as Jenni Murray interviews John Lloyd and John Humphrys in The Message about whether confrontation in political interviews is valuable or not. I'm just reading Lloyd's What the media are doing to our politics where his thesis is that 'the thrill of shallow interrogation' is winning out over a more valuable patient pursuit of the facts.
