During party conference season, Demos held:

32 events across Lib Dem, Labour, and Tory - scrap that, 31 and 1 cancellation - involving

141 speakers and

3 weeks on the road in Bournemouth, Brighton, and Manchester with

3 packets of Blu-Tack used for signage across

12 different venues, only 

2 of which had catering anywhere near half-decent like the

500 sandwiches eaten at the Manchester Town Hall accompanied by

900 bottles of beer for the Demos party that lead to

2 enormous hangovers (thank you Spectator party) soothed by

more barely-edible tandoori chicken skewers than we ever want to see again in our lives!
