It's a case of too many deadlines, not enough time and a whole stack of papers to get through.

Some quite interesting stuff from the RUSI - including a very useful overview from Bruce Mann, an interesting presentation from David Steven and one from Jim McManus, the Assistant Director - Health Improvement at Barking and Dagenham Primary Care Trust.

While presentations about the resilience of the CNI, the role of the private sector and evolution of emergency management is very interesting readers of this blog won't be surprised that I'm looking for stuff under the catergory of 'work in progress' -  Community Resilience! Sadly there wasn't too much on offer, but the amount of energy that is being put into it suggests will be a mjor theme of 2009.

Thanks to my project advisory board ,I have been innundated with contacts and ideas for who I should go and see - so will be spending lots of time on the road (so to speak) these next few months  - if you would like to learn more about this project or even throw us some ideas we are very keen to hear from you - email at the usual address.
