On Wednesday 18 May at 1pm Demos will continue their work on character with a debate featuring New York Times columnist David Brooks, author of The Social Animal, A Story of How Success Happens. David's new book pulls together a wealth of new research from the cognitive and behavioural sciences into a narrative of how character develops and how success is achieved.

Philip Collins, Demos' Chair, will host a conversation with David and Dr Matt Grist, Co-editor of The Character Inquiry, to explore the policy implications - for the left and the right - of this new research.

This event will take place at 1pm on Wednesday 18 May at Demos, 136 Tooley Street, London, SE1 2TU.

To attend, please RSVP to events@demos.co.uk or call 020 7367 6326 with any access queries.
