Clay will be discussing some of the major themes from his new book Here Comes Everybody: The Power of Organizing Without Organizations.
Here Comes Everybody is a book about the social effects of technology. Clay integrates a broad range of disciplines with his own pioneering work to understand the opportunities and the threats new, spontaneous networks of social interaction represent. Wikinomics, yes, but also wikigovernment, and wikimedia. A revolution in social organization has begun and this coming Monday we’re going to discuss what the consequences of this revolution is likely to mean for governments, democracy and society.
