Our third Ideas for London Salon is themed around social change, philanthropy and how Londoners think, plus a winning idea on a London equivalent of New York's High LineFancy ice-skating your way to work?

Hear how London Communtiy Foundation is generating a new form of philanthropy among ordinary Londoners through their 500 x 500 programme. And from Deborah Mattinson from Britain Thinks on particular characteristics of Londoners. Also sharing will be Issac Densu, a 26-year old resident of Broadwater Farm in Tottenham, using film to heal wounds and bring his North London community together. As London prepares to get its own dedicated local TV channel we will hear from Richard Horwood, from the Channel 6 Consortium the group behind one of the leading bids - London TV - on how a new TV station could improve city life. And if you think the we need to do more to clamp down on tax evasion, hear about this brand new campaign from Purpose looking to change The Rules.

Presentations will be in Pecha Kucha style (20 visuals, 20 seconds long). Ideas presented are required to be brave, forward looking and make a significant difference to the lives of Londoners.

This Salon is the third in a series of quarterly events. If you have a burning idea for London, you can submit it here.   If you'd like to attend Salon #3 book your place here or RSVP.
