Demos is delighted to host this panel debate with UNICEF UK. The event will ask what local authorities can do to combat child poverty, and what implications localism and devolution will have for the child poverty agenda. The discussion will place the child poverty target within emerging local implementation strategies and other localism plans; ask how national and local policy makers can continue to see child poverty as a priority area; and look at how a rights based approach can help.

This is an open event being held at the Liberal Democrat Party Conference. For more information please contact fawzia.bakht@demos.co.uk or call 0207 367 6333.
