Demos is delighted to launch the Progressive Conservatism Project's new report, 'Recapitalising the Poor', which explores key solutions to British poverty.

The report makes a compelling argument for a large-scale, asset-based recapitalisation project in the UK.  It forms part of the Progressive Conservatism Project at Demos, which aims to expand and explore the ways in which conservative philosophy, politics and policy can serve progressive goals. 

The launch event will consist of an expert roundtable and represent an opportunity to discuss the issues and policies explored in this report. The round-table will be held under Chatham House rules.
