Alexandra qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in July 2011, having completed a Postgraduate Diploma at City University. Previously she studied Classics at Magdalen College, Oxford.

In summer 2011 she participated in a research project at City University investigating the link between low socio-economic status and speech and language difficulties among children. Her primary interests are disability and education.
