Alex Evans is a senior non-resident fellow’ at New York University’s Center on International Cooperation, where he co-ordinates its work on Climate Change and Global Public Goods. He worked as a special adviser for Hilary Benn, the former UK Secretary of State for International Development (now Secretary of State for Environment) at the UK Department for International Development from 2003 to 2006, and as the Institute for Public Policy Research’s energy and environment research fellow before that. He also co-edits GlobalDashboard, a foreign policy and global affairs blog.
