Our 10 ideas for Brown are in the New Statesman at the moment. Somewhere in there is a call for “a more inclusive, less corporate Olympics”. I’m not sure if the current hoo ha being cooked up around the release of the brand for the London Olympics is quite in this spirit. If you want a “sneak preview” of the messages that will attempt to define what London and the UK stands for over the next 10 years you can register for the website and then answer a series of cryptic clues. fair cop - the London brand is cool and I dig that logo - a bit like watching MTV back in the day. but will this whole nu-rave/peter gabriel get up look dated in 6 months time?  probably. is the aspiration to create "everyone's olympics" commendable but probably incompatible with what LOCOG can and can't do. er, hmmm....
