Ever heard of a webinar? Nope me neither, until i was asked to take part in one the other day. But i’m all for new words. And i’m interested in lots of questions around skills and work so i went along.

Turns out its a bit like a radio show/podcast – people log in and then email questions while the people on the panel give their views. I found myself on the panel with Carol Lewis, who is Editor of the Careers secrtion at The Times, Peter Thomson, the Director of the Future Work Forum at the Henley Management College, and Jo Causon from the Chartered Management Institute.

We ended up talking about a whole host of issues - from the  challenges as well as the benfits of flexible working, to the impact of technology on personal skills and relationships. It was hosted by The Times on their Business homepage, but you can get straight to it here
