Until 2006, Eddie was responsible for Demos’s overall communications and external relations strategy, including project development, media relations, marketing and web development.
He was joint editor of Scotland 2020: Hopeful stories for a northern nation and advises Demos's project partners on communications, including recent projects with the National College for School Leadership on marketing research ideas and online communities.
Before joining Demos in 2001, Eddie worked as a journalist based in Edinburgh and London for over ten years. He wrote for several newspapers and magazines including The Guardian, The Scotsman and Sunday Herald, covering media, culture and social affairs.
