Ed joined Demos as a full time research intern in April 2010, working on the Progressive Conservatism project.

He graduated from the London School of Economics in 2009 with an MSc in Global Politics and from Birmingham University in 2007 with a first class BA in Political Science.   He has previously worked as a research intern for the New Local Government Network. 

His research interests include understanding notions of community and society, improving political participation, broadening conceptions of globalisation and exploring China’s changing international presence.
