Jess is an expert in communications and campaigns working at the Centre for London at Demos.

Jess was head of external affairs at ippr from 1999-2002 where she was responsible for fundraising and events, and also set up the Digital Technologies Programme.  She was briefly seconded in 2001 as a member of Tony Blair’s Campaign Team, which went on to win New Labour’s second term in office. 

After ippr she worked as an Associate Director at the CSR consultancy The Smart Company before setting up Germination, a pro-social production company specialising in events, media and online campaigns. Jess has a Masters in Public Policy from Birkbeck College in London, and is currently a visiting lecturer in cause-related marketing and PR at Greenwich University.
