Joe joined Demos in February 2012 as a media and communications intern.

Since graduating from the University of Birmingham with a History BA in July 2011, Joe has worked for the Guardian Higher Education Network, interned at fullfact.org, volunteered for an MP and spent two weeks at the BBC Business and Economics department.

His passion for politics and policy was enhanced at university where he won an award for his political commentary at Redbrick newspaper.
