Kyle joined Demos in January 2011 as a research intern on the Violence and Extremism programme.
Kyle graduated in November 2010 from the University of St Andrews with an MLitt in International Political Theory (Distinction). In 2009, he graduated from the University of Nottingham with an MA in International Security and Terrorism (Distinction), where he won the award for best overall postgraduate performance. He also holds and undergraduate degree in Politics from the University of Nottingham.
Prior to Demos Kyle worked as a research intern at the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence. In addition to his work at Demos, he is currently a research intern at the Royal United Services Institute.
His current research interests lie at the intersection of British security policy and modern European thought.
