Paul is an expert in development and  local regeneration working at The Centre for London at Demos.

Paul is currently contributing to The Centre for London at Demos, a think tank for the capital.

Paul advises on cities, regional and local economies. He has a record of achievement in national policymaking and in local economic development and regeneration in the UK and in Europe. He has particular expertise in urban regeneration, community leadership and governance, medium-sized cities and city-regions.

Paul is Visiting Policy Fellow at SURF at Salford University. Paul worked with the Department of Communities and Local Government, advising on their cities and regional development panel and was a CABE Enabler. He has undertaken research and policy projects for a variety of organisations including OECD, UNDP, the Work Foundation, Northern Way and Centre for Cities. He is an expert for the Council of Europe and has advised on projects in Albania, Armenia, Georgia, Serbia and Ukraine.
