Becky joined Demos in July 2009 as a full-time research intern having graduated from the University of Nottingham with a First Class degree in Sociology.

Whilst at Demos, she helped produce the background briefing paper for the ‘People’s Inquiry into Personal Information’ project, carrying out key research reflecting public attitudes towards the use, regulation and privacy of personal information and the policy/debate surrounding these issues.

Her personal interests are diverse, ranging from religion (my dissertation examined secularization in 21st century Britain) to power structures and the relationship between freedom and control.
