Sam holds an MSc in Political Theory from the London School of
Economics, where he was awarded the Oakeshott/Cranston Prize for Best
Overall Performance. He also holds a BA in Modern History and Politics
from the University of London.

Prior to joining Demos, Sam interned with Unlock Democracy and the
MCMDO. He has lived in Germany and Ethiopia. His research interests
include radical political theory; ethics; epistemology; liberal
socialism; history; and philosophical hermeneutics
