Head of the Violence and Extremism Programme
Jamie is the Head of the Violence and Extremism Programme and the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media. His primary research interests are: terrorism, extremism and social media analysis, including the use of social media by political movements and law enforcement agencies.

Jonathan is Head of the Citizens Programme at Demos. His research expertise lies in counter-terrorism, public behaviour and drugs policy. He is also interested in theories of democracy and civic regeneration.

Nick Bent
Nick is a co-founder of the UK’s first specialist Thought Leadership consultancy, TLG Communications, where he is Public Affairs Director. He is a former Special Adviser at the Department for Culture Media and Sport, and was previously Director of the think tank Policy Network. He lives in Old Trafford, Manchester and Kilburn, London.
Tom Bentley
Tom Bentley will be Executive Director for policy and cabinet for the Premier of Victoria, Australia from September 2006. He was Director of Demos from 1999-2006.
Kirsten Bound
Kirsten Bound was a senior researcher at Demos until 2008. Her work at Demos focused on democracy and emerging science and innovation in India and Brazil. She is author of India: the uneven innovator and Brazil: the natural knowledge economy and co-author with Paul Skidmore of the Everyday Democracy Index.
