Drawing on examples from around the world, from local communities and from business, Demos’ manifesto sets out what could be done in Britain over the next decade to tackle problems such as crime and unemployment. It argues that after a century of decline, Britain is ready for a new spring, and it offers a plethora of imaginative policy ideas covering areas as diverse as jobs and the environment, homelessness and fun, defence and schools, as well as new models of problem-solving government and a radical new approach to business.
