This report accompanies the Constitution for Social Care published by Demos on 4 February 2009.
It sets out the methodology and data of the research that underpinned the drafting of the Constitution, fleshing out the case for a core document to establish rights and responsibilities for social care users.
Demos partnered with Leonard Cheshire Disability and the Multiple Sclerosis Society to investigate what disabled people of working age need from the social care system and how the future funding of social care can be designed to meet that need.
