The Sage Gateshead is a new home for music and musical discovery, bringing about a widespread and long-term enrichment of music on the North of England.
The report was commissioned by The Paul Hamlyn Foundation to assess the value of The Sage Gateshead's work in terms of its effects on young people, and to understand how a music-learning ecology is being created in the Northeast of England. It was sponsored by the DfES Innovation Unit.
