- Artist in Residence Like many budding artists, Sophie is at a stage in her career when a studio is too expensive to rent and, while her art work is bought by people as far a way as Dubai, living is still pretty tough. But thanks to a novel agreement with a company based near Oxford Street, Sophie is able to have a room (admittedly stacked to the ceiling with boxes, files, and last year’s headed paper) and paint for free.
